I looked at a lot of lifts and their features and basis for any four post lift seemed pretty much the same to me. I was looking for something a little larger than normal top accommodate a long bed pickup truck which this lift easily does. It's got plenty of room for that and my hobby car. The lift arrived via freight and the outside packaging was pretty screwed up (obviously a carrier issue) and my first thought was about what might be missing. Fortunately, the way these things are packaged, it's pretty hard to loose a piece, but I was also assured that even if I was missing something, National Auto Tools would ship replacement pieces right out to me. I had never assembled one of these before and the instruction manual is a pretty good one. The only advice I'd give is to clear up some of the pictures. The pictures in mine were a little dark and made it difficult to see the detail I was looking for. However, as long as you call these guys within normal business hours, they are right there to offer quite, polite tech support. They texted me images and videos of the things I needed clarification on and my assembly went just fine. The lift is plenty sturdy and works perfectly. Great tool!
Received item very quick and seems to be in decent shape
This thing is awesome for the price. The way it's packaged it takes a lot to get it out of the truck (an old tractor with bucket loader wasn't able to do it). Once it's on the ground though, 2 people can easily put it together.
It's a bit wobbly looking while lifting things, but you get used to it. Once a vehicle is in the air, it always feels rock solid though. This is a trade off for it not being bolted down and the conveniences of being able to move it is huge.
