Bead Blast

The bead blast system on our Triumph brand tire changers helps seat the bead on a tire.  A large amount of air is blasted through holes behind the jaws, into the tire.  This air pushes the sidewalls of the tire against the rim so the tire can be inflated.  After this is done, you can then simply hook the air inflation hose to the tire valve and air the tire to the recommended pressure.  Both the bead blast and tire inflation systems are easy to use and are operated using the same foot pedal.  All of our tire changers include the bead blast system with the exception of the NTC-460 model.  When buying a tire changer, remember to always ask if it comes with a bead blast system.
