NTB-580 Electronic Wheel Balancer

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

The automotive industry has probably seen the largest expansion in comparison to any other market. With an increased market for motor cars, comes an increase in demand for service. Many garages and shops offer tire services which include changing tires, filling them up with air, fixing punctures etc. Times have passed from the simple “twist lift” that was used to put under cars in order to elevate the car of the ground so it would be easier to remove the tires. As technology has advanced so has tire equipment. More shops and garages are known to have a set of the latest tire equipment in the market. But they are not readily available. There are only a limited few places that offer tire equipment to business all over at competitive prices. It is a good idea to have a look around at various places using the yellow pages and the internet to find the right supplier that can offer tire equipment at decent prices. You have to keep in mind that using tire equipment will improve efficiency towards your business and in result bring more customers. So the price that you may have to pay for any tire equipment you buy will hopefully be covered in the long run. One piece of tire equipment that many tend to over look which customers feel is a necessity is a wheel balancer. It shows whether or not the wheel is actually stable and in proper shape to be used safely on a vehicle. One that you could consider that is quite cheap is the NTB-580 Electronic Wheel Balancer.

What Tire Changer

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

I read all of your tech help and appreciate the details and wealth of knowledge concerning corvettes out there. I anticipate having to have tire work including balancing and tire changes done in the future and will probably remove them myself and transport the wheels with tires to a proper place. My question is what should I look for in tire changer equipment and technician that would be the best for my chrome Z06 wheels and non run-flats. Are there types of tire changers that I should stay away from? Are there types tire changing machines that I should use? Thanks for any comments.
