Every shop needs a tire changer

Friday, March 27th, 2009

If you run an automotive repair shop, then you need a tire changer.  The customer doesnt want to go to you for an oil change and then have to go somewhere else for a tire change.  They want to have their tires changed and their oil changed at the same place.  Why not make money doing both of these jobs?

You can do it easily by choosing from our selection of tire changers.  Our tire changers and wheel balancers can handle almost any tire that would come in your door.  From regular compact car tires to truck tires.  Our tire changers can handle low profile and run flat tires.  We even have tire changers that can handle tractor trailer tires.

Your customer is going somewhere to get their tires changed and balanced.  Why not have them come to you for this service?  It is not hard to change a tire, and you make a good profit doing it.  Our tire changers are easy to use and are made for a proffesional commercial shop.  If you run a proffesional shop, then a manual tire changer is not right for you.  You need to be capable of changing a set of tires quickly and without harming the rim.  You also want to look proffesional with your customer watching you change tires through the glass window.  Our tire changers will help you accomplish all this and more.

Every shop needs a auto lift

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Auto lifts have become very affordable over the past decade.  You can now buy a two post auto lift or four post auto lift for a reasonable price that will not leave your bank account empty.  Quality has improved and the lift span of an auto lift has increased.  There are many choices when buying an auto lift and you must consider many things.

First consideration when buying an auto lift is how much weight will you be lifting.  The capacity of the auto lift is very important.  Second consideration is what will you be doing with the auto lift.  A four post lift is mainly used for storage but can be used for working.  A tow post lift is mainly used for working and is not recomended for storage.  Third consideration is how high is you ceiling.  some ceilings are not high enough to fit an overhead two post auto lift.  If this is the case, then you might consider a low ceiling two post auto lift.  If buying a four post lift for storage, you need to add the heigh of the two vehicles you will be storing and add another 6 inches for safety.

These are just some of the things to consider when buying your auto lift.  Good luck and check out our site for all your auto lift needs.

What Tire Changer

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

I read all of your tech help and appreciate the details and wealth of knowledge concerning corvettes out there. I anticipate having to have tire work including balancing and tire changes done in the future and will probably remove them myself and transport the wheels with tires to a proper place. My question is what should I look for in tire changer equipment and technician that would be the best for my chrome Z06 wheels and non run-flats. Are there types of tire changers that I should stay away from? Are there types tire changing machines that I should use? Thanks for any comments.
